Job summary

Enervise is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial mechanical projects from turnover through closeout. This role owns project financial performance, schedule, field coordination, customer communication, change orders, billing, risk, and closeout.

The position is hybrid with the first 60 days onsite, requiring 5+ years in mechanical/ HVAC sectors and a BS/BA. You will read drawings, manage budgets, and lead teams to deliver on time and on budget.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in commercial HVAC, mechanical service, plumbing, construction, or related field.
• BA or BS degree preferred.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and commercial project execution.
• Experience managing budgets, job cost, forecasting, billing, or financial reporting.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and scopes of work.
• Strong communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with project management, estimating, job-cost, accounting, or related software.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial mechanical projects from kickoff through closeout.
• Own budgets, job cost, labor productivity, margin, forecasting, billing, and cash flow.
• Develop schedules and manpower plans; coordinate equipment, materials, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Partner with Service Managers, Foremen, and field teams to keep work safe, on schedule, and on budget.
• Serve as the primary customer contact and manage expectations, scope changes, and project risks.
• Identify and negotiate change orders while protecting project profitability.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and support successful project closeout.
