Job summary

RQ Construction LLC in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to lead mechanical construction for a large ambulatory care center and dental clinic. The role supervises teams, manages safety, quality, and schedule to meet government requirements.

This position requires a 4-year degree in mechanical engineering or construction management, 5+ years of PM experience on multi-million dollar projects, and experience with BIM/Primavera P6.

Qualifications

• A 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management is preferred; a high school diploma or GED is the minimum formal education required.
• Courses in project management, construction management, BIM, and CADD are preferred.
• Five or more years of work experience as a Mechanical Project Manager managing projects with a mechanical scope of at least $5,000,000 (commercial/government) is required.
• Government, military, or large commercial construction experience is preferred; design‑build industry experience is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated track record of managing projects in medical centers, dental facilities, or other healthcare environments is preferred.
• Computer literacy in Outlook, Word, Excel, and Primavera P6 is preferred; training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, direct, and coordinate all mechanical construction activities on projects.
• Collaborate with mechanical trade superintendents, subcontractors, and RQ team members to ensure quality within government requirements, budget, and schedule.
• Support projects from conceptual design through project completion in alignment with RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.
