Job summary

RQ Construction is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to lead mechanical construction on a large ambulatory care center and dental clinic project at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. You’ll direct field teams, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with government requirements from concept through commissioning.

Qualified candidates will have a 4-year engineering or construction degree, 5+ years PM experience on multi‑million dollar scopes, and familiarity with Primavera P6; relocation and U.S.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management preferred; high school diploma/GED minimum.
• Five+ years of experience as a Mechanical Project Manager on projects with mechanical scope ≥ $5,000,000.
• Government, military or large commercial construction experience preferred; design‑build experience desirable.
• Healthcare environment project experience preferred; BIM and Primavera P6 familiarity advantageous.
• MS Office and Primavera P6 literacy; BIM knowledge preferred; training available.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, direct, and coordinate all mechanical construction activities on projects.
• Collaborate with mechanical trade superintendents, subcontractors, and RQ team members.
• Ensure high-quality work within government requirements, budget, and schedule from design to completion.
• Support RQ’s Mission, Vision, and Values.
