Job summary

Uhl Company Inc, a Maple Grove-based HVAC and building systems contractor, seeks a Project Manager/Estimator to lead and estimate commercial HVAC and piping projects. You will engage clients, prepare estimates, and manage execution from bid through project completion.

The role requires prior mechanical PM/estimation experience, robust negotiation, organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams. Competitive compensation and benefits offered.

Position Overview:

As a Project Manager / Estimator you will be our point of contact to our clients. You will estimate, sell and manage commercial HVAC and Piping projects.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities:

Include but not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Position Requirements:

• Previous experience as a mechanical project manager and estimator.
• Strong negotiating skills with suppliers and customers.
• Must pass a background check and have a valid driver’s license.
• Advanced written, verbal, customer service and relationship building skills.
• High level organizational skills to perform project management responsibilities.
• Flexible, willingness to be able to adapt to change.
• Ability to work well with others both internally and externally including in stressful situations.
• Proficiency in standard office computer programs such as MS Office 365.
• Knowledge of industry is recommended but not required.
• Ability to operate effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision.

Working Condition / Physical Requirements:

Office environment: Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending and stooping.
