Job summary

Uhl Company is seeking a Plumbing Estimator in Maple Grove, MN to lead cost forecasting and bid preparation for commercial plumbing projects. You will develop estimates from plans, communicate scope to clients and stakeholders, and manage subcontractor coordination.

Ideal candidates bring proven estimating experience, strong negotiation, and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure while delivering accurate and competitive bids.

Responsibilities

• Estimate, sell and manage commercial plumbing projects.
• Identify risks and general condition needs.
• Develop project estimates based on plans and specifications.
• Develop and communicate the trade specific scope of work to all necessary parties.
• Review and approve all documents as it relates to the project.
• Compile a list of necessary sub-contractors.
• Enter summary data into the recap spreadsheet.
• Participate in post project reviews.
• Cooperate with others as a company resource.

Position Overview:

As a Plumbing Estimator you will be our point of contact to clients and will estimate, sell and manage commercial plumbing projects.In addition you will:

Salary Range

$80,000 to $140,000 DOE
