Job summary

RQ Construction LLC is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to lead and coordinate the mechanical scope of projects in and around Jacksonville, Florida. Qualified candidates outside the area may be eligible for relocation assistance.

The role requires coordinating with superintendents, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure safety, schedule, and budget compliance on complex government and commercial builds. Occasional travel to project sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management required or preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing mechanical work on commercial or government projects valued at $5M+.
• Experience with military/government/large-scale Design-Build projects preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel; Primavera P6 and BIM tools a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical work on assigned projects.
• Coordinate with mechanical superintendents, subcontractors, and project teams to keep work safe, on schedule, and within budget.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements and government regulations; travel to project sites as needed.
