Job summary

RQ Construction, LLC is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to lead and coordinate the mechanical scope of projects in and around Jacksonville, Florida. Qualified candidates outside the area may be eligible for relocation assistance.

The role involves managing planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical work, collaborating with subs and project teams to meet safety, schedule, budget, and government requirements. Willingness to travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management preferred; High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing mechanical work on commercial or government construction projects valued at $5 million or more.
• Mechanical field experience strongly preferred; BIM/CADD training is a plus.
• Experience with military, government, large-scale commercial, or Design-Build projects preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Primavera P6 preferred; BIM software experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the mechanical planning, coordination, and execution on assigned projects.
• Work with mechanical superintendents, subcontractors, and project teams to keep work safe, on schedule, within budget, and compliant with contract/government requirements.
• Travel to project sites as needed.

We are seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to lead and coordinate the mechanical scope of projects in and around Jacksonville, Florida. Qualified candidates located outside the area may be eligible for relocation assistance.

The Mechanical Project Manager is responsible for managing the planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical work on assigned projects. You'll work closely with mechanical superintendents, subcontractors, and project teams to keep work safe, on schedule, within budget, and compliant with contract and government requirements.
