Job Description

Turner & Townsend seeks a Mechanical Project Manager to support large-scale construction manufacturing projects requiring exceptional talent.
Our expanding product portfolio includes unprecedented production lines, demanding cell production at scales once thought impossible.

Key Activities
  • Manage daily construction activities, including Mechanical & Plumbing trades.
  • Develop and lead a team executing MEP works.
  • Coordinate contractor activities and resolve field construction issues.
  • Interface with construction teams to ensure project objectives (schedule, quality) are met.
  • Facilitate focus groups to resolve escalated construction issues.
  • Report progress and risks to the Construction Director.
  • Identify construction risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Track potential change orders and claims/disputes.
  • Document all field activities.
  • Manage Mechanical & Plumbing onsite, focusing on safety, quality, environmental, cultural heritage, and community issues.
  • Develop methods to measure progress with the construction team.
  • Mentor colleagues on construction excellence.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
  • Adhere to SOX controls where applicable.
Qualifications
  • BSc in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • 1-5 years of experience managing large industrial projects ($100m+ capex) at leading companies.
  • Proven expertise in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing engineering.
  • Understanding of design change implications.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English, with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work in high-performance, cross-functional teams under tight timelines.
  • Open to exploring new ideas and continuous learning.
  • Capable of training and mentoring others.
