Jobot in Phoenix is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to lead a diverse portfolio of HVAC and MEP projects from planning through completion.

As an ESOP company with strong retention, you will build cross-functional teams, manage budgets, schedules, and client relationships, and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• PE licensed in Arizona.
• 7+ years of experience managing mechanical engineering, HVAC, plumbing, piping, or MEP projects.
• Proven track record delivering projects on schedule and within budget.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical engineering projects from planning and design through construction and project closeout.
• Oversee the HVAC design team, with direct reports.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
• Coordinate and oversee the preparation of mechanical system designs, drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, change orders, invoices, and contract administration activities.
• Ensure quality control procedures are followed throughout all phases of project execution.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers, designers, and project team members.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and long-term partnerships.
• Conduct site visits and field inspections to verify project progress and resolve construction-related issues.
