Job summary

Jobot in San Jose, CA is seeking an experienced Permanent HVAC Mechanical Project Manager to join our growing team. You will oversee all aspects of HVAC projects from conception to completion, with a strong emphasis on design-build delivery and achieving quality, schedule, and budget targets.

Work closely with architects, engineers and field teams to design and implement robust HVAC systems, develop comprehensive project plans, coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors, and ensure compliance

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Project Manager in HVAC or related industry.
• Experience in design-build projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and construction methods.
• Proficient in planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills; ability to work with all levels.

We are currently seeking an experienced Permanent HVAC Mechanical Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design-build and a proven track record in delivering high-quality HVAC projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Managing and overseeing all aspects of HVAC projects, from initial planning to project closeout.
• Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to design and implement effective HVAC systems.
• Developing comprehensive project plans and schedules, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
• Effectively communicating project status, issues, and risks to all stakeholders.
• Identifying, managing, and mitigating project risks and issues.
• Continuously improving project management processes and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality projects and addressing customer concerns promptly and professionally.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the HVAC or related industry.
• Proven experience in managing design-build projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, construction methods, and industry best practices.
• Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of an organization.
• Proficiency in using project management software and tools.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
