Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead mechanical and MEP projects in Houston, TX from pre-construction through closeout. You will manage scope, schedule, budgets and coordination for HVAC, plumbing and related trades on industrial and ground-up developments, while guiding project engineers and field teams.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years mechanical project management experience.
• HVAC, plumbing, mechanical systems and MEP coordination on industrial/ground-up projects.
• Strong estimating, budgeting, bid prep and change order management.
• Knowledge of contracts, scope development and project controls.
• Experience coordinating multiple trades on multi-discipline projects.
• Excellent communication, leadership and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical/MEP projects from pre-construction through closeout, meeting scope, schedule, budget and quality goals.
• Develop and maintain schedules; monitor progress and implement recovery plans as needed.
• Manage mechanical estimates, budgets, change orders and cost control.
• Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Oversee procurement, submittals and equipment selection for HVAC, plumbing and mechanical systems.
• Ensure compliance with contracts, codes, standards and safety policies.
• Conduct site visits, inspections and progress meetings to verify quality.
• Supervise and mentor project engineers, field supervisors and subcontractors.
• Identify and mitigate project risks proactively.
• Prepare project reports, forecasts and executive summaries.

Mechanical Project Manager

Location: Houston, TX

Salary: $100,000 - $140,000 (Based on Experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead mechanical and MEP projects from pre-construction through closeout. The successful candidate will manage project scope, schedules, budgets, estimating and coordination of mechanical, HVAC, plumbing and related trades for industrial, manufacturing, and ground-up construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical/MEP projects from pre-construction through closeout, meeting scope, schedule, budget and quality goals

• Knowledge of construction contracts, scope development and project controls
• Experience coordinating electrical and other trades on multi-discipline projects
• Strong communication, leadership and client-facing skills
• Proficiency with MS Project, Primavera, Procore, Bluebeam, Excel; BIM/REVIT a plus
