Job summary

CyberCoders in Troy, NY is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to lead HVAC/MEP projects from planning through closeout. You’ll drive on-site execution and reliability, coordinating with field teams and clients to ensure timely, cost-effective results.

The role requires 5+ years of PM experience in HVAC/MEP, a BS in CM/ME or related field, and strong knowledge of job costing, scheduling, and MS Office tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of project management experience in HVAC/MEP construction, with at least 2 years supporting industrial or commercial projects.
• Strong understanding of construction logistics, job cost accounting, and project financials.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project) and familiarity with construction management software (Autodesk Build, Spectrum ERP).

Responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle onsite, from planning through closeout, with a focus on reliability, and uptime requirements.
• Coordinate daily with field superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure seamless execution of work.
• Monitor and track project schedules, costs, manpower, and equipment to meet project deadlines and financial objectives.
• Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, purchase orders, change orders, and progress billings.
• Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and vendor quotations to ensure scope alignment and best value.

We are working with a national MEP contractor who needs a mechanical project manager in Troy, NY. The ideal candidate will have experience with various commercial and industrial mechanical and MEP systems.

What You'll Own
