Job summary

CyberCoders, Inc. seeks a Project Manager to lead mechanical and MEP projects onsite in Albany, NY. You will oversee the full lifecycle from planning to closeout with a focus on reliability and uptime.

Responsibilities include coordinating with field teams, tracking schedules and costs, preparing RFIs and submittals, managing change orders and progress billings, and negotiating subcontractor quotes for best value. A bachelor’s degree in CM or ME is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CM/MEP.
• 5+ years of project management in HVAC/MEP construction.
• Experience with industrial or commercial projects preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office and construction software (e.g., Autodesk Build, Spectrum ERP).

Job Title: Project Manager

Salary Rate: $100,000 - $140,000

We are working with a national MEP contractor who needs a mechanical project manager in Albany, NY. The ideal candidate will have experience with various commercial and industrial mechanical and MEP systems.

What You'll Own

• Manage the full project lifecycle onsite, from planning through closeout, with a focus on reliability, and uptime requirements.

• Coordinate daily with field superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure seamless execution of work.

• Monitor and track project schedules, costs, manpower, and equipment to meet project deadlines and financial objectives.

• Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, purchase orders, change orders, and progress billings.

• Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and vendor quotations to ensure scope alignment and best value.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

• 5+ years of project management experience in HVAC/MEP construction, with at least 2 years supporting industrial or commercial projects preferred.

• Strong understanding of construction logistics, job cost accounting, and project financials.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project) and familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Autodesk Build, Spectrum ERP, or equivalent).
