Job summary

RK Industries is seeking a Mechanical Assistant Project Manager to support complex mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will coordinate procurement, submittals, scheduling, budgeting, project documentation, change orders, and financial performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field or equivalent experience
• Approximately 7 years of construction coordination or project management experience
• Strong understanding of contracts, administration, and documentation processes
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, procurement, and cost control
• Knowledge of mechanical construction delivery methods and operations

Responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical construction projects from kickoff through closeout
• Manage day-to-day project administration and documentation to support successful delivery
• Assist with contract review, processing, execution, and compliance requirements
• Support budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, procurement, and cost control activities
• Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment to support project schedules and budget goals
• Assist with subcontractor buyout, negotiations, and execution
• Coordinate submittal reviews, tracking, and documentation
• Support project scheduling updates throughout execution
• Assist with billing schedules, progress billings, and collections
• Process and track change orders and project documentation
• Coordinate labor planning with project leadership
• Monitor project productivity and financial performance
• Review and process supplier and subcontractor invoices
• Support preconstruction and turnover meetings and ongoing coordination
• Ensure permits, licenses, and compliance docs are secured
