RK Industries seeks a Mechanical Senior Project Manager to lead large mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will direct cross-functional teams, manage budgets and schedules, and coordinate with customers, vendors, and subcontractors to deliver safe, profitable results.

The role requires 15+ years in construction or mechanical contracting, strong leadership and communication skills, and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of construction, mechanical contracting, or project management experience.
• Proven success leading large, complex commercial or industrial construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of project budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, contract administration, and cost control.
• Experience negotiating subcontracts, managing procurement, and overseeing project financials.

Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through final turnover and closeout.
• Own project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, billing, collections, and profitability.
• Lead project teams and coordinate efforts across operations, field leadership, procurement, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Develop and execute project schedules that align resources, milestones, and customer expectations.
• Manage contract administration, change orders, risk mitigation, and project documentation.
• Ensure labor resources, productivity, materials, and equipment are aligned with project objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, trade partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Drive project execution while balancing quality, safety, schedule, and financial performance.
• Lead subcontractor coordination, procurement planning, and project buyout activities.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities for project team members.
• Forecast project performance and implement strategies to maximize profitability and client satisfaction.
• Identify risks early and proactively develop solutions that keep projects moving forward.
