PG&E in Chico, California is seeking a journey-level Project Engineer to provide engineering, design, and project management support for medium to large capital and expense improvements to power generation assets.

Requirements include a 4-year engineering degree, a California PE license (or eligible with out-of-state license and within 18 months), and at least three years of cumulative project engineering experience; PMP and Mechanical PE are desirable.

Formación

• BS in Engineering from an accredited program in the US or equivalent.
• Currently hold a California PE license or have a PE license in another state/canada and obtain CA license within 18 months.
• Minimum three years of cumulative experience in project engineering, design, and construction.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design and/or project management for moderately complex generation projects.
• Provide technical support to O&M including incident investigation and corrective actions.
• Control scope, schedule, cost, and quality across project lifecycles.
• Prepare/evaluate contracts and proposals with engineering consultants and vendors, reviewing for technical compliance.
• Stamp/approve engineering drawings and reports; coordinate with stakeholders; drive continuous improvements.
