Job summary

PG&E is seeking a journey-level Project Engineer to deliver full engineering, design, and project management support for moderately complex generation and infrastructure projects in California. This exempt role requires extensive knowledge of engineering principles and the ability to work with O&M staff and contractors on multiple initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited curriculum in the US or equivalent.
CA Professional Engineer license required; or PE license in another state with plan to obtain CA license within 18 months.
Minimum of three years of cumulative experience in project engineering, design, and construction.

Responsibilities

Lead design and project management for moderately complex generation projects.
Provide broad technical support to O&M including incident investigations and corrective actions.
Proactively manage scope, schedule, cost, and quality across the project lifecycle.
Collaborate on contracts/proposals with consultants, vendors, and EPCs; review technical compliance.
Ensure compliance with codes and stamp drawings and provide engineering direction to teams.
