PG&E is seeking a Senior Project Engineer in Auburn, CA, to lead complex, multi-year capital and expense projects across hydro, fossil, solar, and storage facilities. The role requires extensive project management, contract oversight, and regulatory interaction with external agencies.

You will mentor staff, drive design and construction excellence, and ensure safety and compliance across large-scale generation assets, reporting to the Power Generation group.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering from a US-accredited curriculum.
• Active California PE license is required.
• Eight+ years of cumulative experience in engineering, design and construction in generation or heavy industry.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage complex, multi-year capital and expense projects in power generation infrastructure.
• Provide technical direction, risk management, and regulatory coordination with agencies and contractors.
• Develop standards, specifications, and regulatory communications.
• Mentor engineers and review project work for quality and compliance.
• Present findings to internal teams and external stakeholders, including regulators.
