Job summary

T. Baker Smith, LLC is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to join our Engineering team in handling industrial, facilities and pipeline projects from FEED through commissioning. The role requires strong technical expertise and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, a P.E. license (or ability to obtain), and at least 5 years of pipeline/midstream experience, with knowledge of CFR/ASME

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from ABET-accredited university.
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred or ability to obtain licensure.
Minimum 5 years of experience in pipeline and midstream engineering.
Familiarity with 49 CFR Part 192, 195; ASME B31.3/31.8/31.4 regulations.

Responsibilities

Leads technical tasks on projects and coordinates with Project Manager.
Performs design calculations, MAOP/MOP, pressure design, hydrostatic tests.
Prepares reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
Ensures drawings meet project standards (QA/QC).
