T. Baker Smith, LLC. is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to join our Engineering team in a role focused on FEED/preliminary design through construction support.

The candidate will design, analyze, and execute industrial, facilities and pipeline projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and clients. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise in pipeline facilities, cross-country transmission, and regulatory compliance, with the ability to perform engineering calculations

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred or ability to obtain.
• Minimum 5 years in pipeline and midstream engineering.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical tasks on pipeline and industrial projects.
• Plan, design, and direct engineering efforts with scope, schedule, and budgets.
• Prepare calculations, studies, and design verifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, and team members.
• Ensure QA/QC compliance with project standards.
