Job summary

Based in Cypress or Rancho Dominguez with travel to project sites in Southern California, the internship offers real-world learning with 40-hour weeks over 10–12 weeks,

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university program and pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.).
• Demonstrated initiative and ability to interact effectively in a team environment.
• Available to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the internship (approximately 10 weeks).

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating mechanical projects.
• Support review of designs, drawings, and specifications.
• Help manage project documentation including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and reports.
• Participate in site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with specs.
• Assist with cost estimates and budgets.
• Aid in implementing quality control measures.
• Facilitate communication among project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
• Assist with safety protocol implementation and compliance.
