Upgrade Resources in Carrollton, TX is seeking a Project Engineer II - Mechanical to support complex mechanical construction projects, interpret plans, assemble submittals, procure equipment, and manage change orders.

You will collaborate with management and stakeholders to maintain schedule and budget, read mechanical and plumbing drawings, and apply HVAC/plumbing knowledge throughout project execution. The role is on-site with competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or equivalent education, training, and experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems design and ability to read mechanical/plumbing plans.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with CADD and Microsoft Office (Excel).

Responsabilités

• Support the project team on several mechanical projects of varying size.
• Serve as the lead technical resource on smaller projects.
• Collaborate with management and stakeholders on project matters.
• Inform management of issues affecting timeline and budget.
• Manage change orders and estimate impact of changes.
• Expedite material to maintain schedule.
• Provide interpretation of plans and specifications.
• Assemble submittal packages and required documentation.
• Procure equipment, materials, and services.
• Participate in subcontractor selection and hiring.
• Analyze and resolve complex technical questions.
