Vanderlande is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer II to support the North American Airport Engineering Department in design, coordination, installation support and commissioning of baggage handling systems. You will translate drawings into mechanical designs, build 3D models, and collaborate across multiple teams to meet schedule, cost and quality goals.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 2–5 years of related experience, with travel up to 15–20% domestically

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience.
• Experience in mechanical design, industrial systems, automation, material handling, or related industries.

Mansioni

• Translate customer drawings, specs, and requirements into mechanical design deliverables.
• Develop and modify 2D drawings and supporting documentation.
• Create and maintain 3D models using Autodesk tools.
• Conduct clash detection and coordinate with other disciplines.
• Perform spatial analysis for maintenance access and egress pathways.
• Carry out calculations for throughput, motor power, loads, and structural reactions.
• Prepare equipment lists, BOMs, and tracking documents.
• Collaborate with Electrical, Controls, and Project Management teams.
