Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of mechanical engineering experience.
• EIT/PE license preferred, but not required.
• Strong desire to eventually lead projects and project teams.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong attention to detail and passion for mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Senior Project Leaders on schematic designs, focusing on mechanical and electrical room sizes and requirements.
• Develop designs and construction documents from initial concepts.
• Guide and mentor Entry-Level Designers and Senior Designers, providing oversight and feedback on their work.
• Prepare design specifications and participate in BIM and Standards initiatives.
• Lead trade coordination, executing complex tasks such as mechanical and electrical room layouts.
• Attend construction meetings, generate observation reports, and conduct inspections.
• Coordinate clearances with other design professionals and select project details.
