Job summary

Thomas Young Group is seeking an Entry Level Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering consultancy, collaborating on large-scale projects across the United States. You’ll work with architects, developers, and public sector teams to design and coordinate mechanical systems for healthcare, education, and government spaces.

You will use Revit MEP and AutoCAD to produce project documentation, support from early design through construction, and gain exposure to a variety of project types while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
• 0–3 years of experience.
• EIT preferred but not required.
• LEED accreditation is a plus.
• Proficiency in Revit MEP and AutoCAD.
• Understanding of building, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Internship experience with an MEP firm is a plus.
• Authorization to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and coordination of mechanical systems across a range of projects.
• Work alongside senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Use Revit MEP and AutoCAD to produce project documentation.
• Assist with project delivery from early design through construction.
• Gain exposure to commercial, healthcare, educational, industrial, and government projects.
• Support coordination across building, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
