Job summary

GP Reeves is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to design and manage dispensing system projects, including machine frames, tooling, and system components. The role requires hands-on experience across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical domains, and the incumbent serves as the project manager interfacing with customers to meet scope and schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of machine design experience including pneumatics, hydraulics, robotics, motion control, PLCs, HMIs, or vision systems.
• 5+ years of 3D CAD design experience (SolidWorks preferred).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Strong electromechanical system testing ability.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical components and machine frames; select or design dispensing system components.
• Lead project management tasks: budget, schedule, milestones, deliverables.
• Write operation sequences and specifications for PLC-controlled systems.
