Job description

We're hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer for a full-time opportunity with a growing engineering and manufacturing organization focused on the design and development of precision fluid dispensing and metering systems. This role is ideal for an experienced mechanical engineer with strong hands-on design and analysis experience who wants to work across product development, prototyping, testing, manufacturing, and continuous improvement.

You'll take ownership of complex mechanical designs and subassemblies from concept through production while working closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams. This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys solving challenging engineering problems, working directly with physical products, and mentoring less experienced engineers. The role provides significant technical ownership and the opportunity to contribute to products used in highly technical and regulated applications.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
  • 5–8+ years of relevant mechanical engineering experience
  • Strong mechanical design and engineering analysis experience
  • Proficiency with CAD software; SolidWorks experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of GD&T and ANSI/ASME Y14 drawing standards
  • Experience with FEA and/or CFD
  • Experience performing tolerance analysis
  • Experience with FMEA, DOE, and structured root cause analysis
  • Strong understanding of materials and manufacturing processes
  • Ability to independently manage multiple projects or engineering deliverables
  • Strong technical writing, documentation, and communication skills
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Experience designing mechanical and electromechanical systems
  • Experience taking products from concept through production release
  • Experience with precision fluid handling, pumps, valves, or metering systems
  • Experience with prototype development and hands-on troubleshooting
  • Experience working with manufacturing and contract suppliers
  • Knowledge of ISO 13485, IEC/EN/UL, and RoHS requirements
  • Experience working in regulated manufacturing environments
  • Experience with design verification and validation
  • Experience mentoring junior or associate engineers
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience working in laboratory or machine shop environments
