Johnsonville Sausage, LLC at the Tech Center in Wisconsin offers an 8-month Mechanical/Project Engineer Co-op starting January 4, 2027 or May 24, 2027. You will join the Engineering Team to lead and support projects that enhance safety, quality and efficiency across production locations.

The role emphasizes hands-on learning, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and exposure to robotics, control systems and manufacturing processes within a global company known for its Johnsonville Way

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering/Technology; junior or senior.
• Minimum 2.70 overall GPA and a 3.0 in core concentration.
• Prior work experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project; AutoCAD or SolidWorks a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to projects improving safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Learn project vision, scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Assist automation and design engineers with new projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional project teams.
• Travel to other Johnsonville facilities and work off-hours.
• Support start dates of January 4, 2027 or May 24, 2027.
