Job summary

Johnsonville, LLC in Wisconsin invites an Electrical/Controls Engineer Co-op for an 8-month program starting January 4, 2027 or May 24, 2027. You will join the Engineering Team and contribute to world-class food industry projects.

You’ll lead or support projects aimed at safety, quality and efficiency across production locations, and gain hands-on experience in robotics, control systems and software development.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Control Systems, or related field; junior or senior status preferred.
• Minimum 2.70 overall GPA and a 3.0 GPA in core concentration.

Responsibilities

• Learn to lead and contribute to projects improving safety, quality and efficiency at production locations.
• Gain experience in robotics, control systems, and software development in food engineering.
• Develop Project Vision, Objective(s), Scope, Timelines and Deliverables.
• Assist project automation and design engineers with new project implementations.
• Work with cross-functional project teams supporting customers of the engineering team.
• Learn how ideas go from concept to implementation in a manufacturing environment.
