Job summary

Professional Engineering Consultants is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to own design work, with hands-on experience in AutoCAD, Revit, and related BIM/CAD tools. You will guide multiple projects, coordinate with other disciplines, and ensure adherence to codes and project specifications.

The role emphasizes quality, timely delivery, and collaboration across teams. Ideal candidates will have a PE license, a Bachelor of Science in a mechanical field, and at least four years of engineering

Qualifications

• Minimum B.S. degree in engineering from an accredited college.
• Minimum four years of engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in the location of practice.
• Ability to work independently and with others, with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead design on multiple projects and supervise other design professionals.
• Prepare and review engineering plans and drawings in accord with codes and standards.
• Assist in proposals, cost estimates, and feasibility studies.
• Perform design computations by hand and software; coordinate with other design staff for construction documents.
• Mentor less experienced staff and participate in business development activities.
• Ensure quality through QA reviews and timely project delivery.
