Tailwind Applied Sciences is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design, analysis, and implementation of mechanical systems and equipment. You will perform calculations and prepare technical documentation under supervision, contributing to equipment sizing and system design.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, ensure adherence to ASME/ISO standards, and assist in project planning and progress reporting in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical system design and engineering principles.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Understanding of mechanical calculations and equipment sizing/selection.
• Familiarity with engineering standards and specifications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist in designing mechanical systems and components using AutoCAD, Revit, and other CAD software.
• Perform mechanical calculations including load, stress, thermal, and fluid flow analysis.
• Develop and review engineering specifications and technical documentation.
• Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and construction documents.
• Participate in system design coordination using BIM tools such as Revit.
• Assist in evaluating system performance and troubleshooting issues.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (electrical, civil, manufacturing).
• Ensure designs meet codes, standards, and safety regulations (ASME, ISO, etc.).
• Support project planning, schedules, and progress reporting.
