Job summary

Professional Engineering Consultants is seeking a Design Engineer to support design across multiple projects, delivering design deliverables and calculations using BIM/CAD tools. You will collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure code-compliant, constructible solutions and assist with construction administration.

Responsibilities include design and takeoff calculations, organizing project documentation, and clear communication with the Design Team to meet PEC standards.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience with BIM/CAD design software.
• Knowledge of codes/regulations and design of MEP systems.

Responsibilities

• Design engineering for multiple projects and produce construction documents.
• Coordinate with other design staff and clients to develop solutions.
• Prepare hand and computer-based design calculations.
• Assist in construction administration including review of submittals and RFIs.
• Organize project information per PEC standards and maintain schedules.
• Communicate effectively with the Design Team to ensure PEC quality.
