Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. in Tucson seeks a Mechanical Project Engineer to design HVAC systems for research and healthcare facilities. You will lead design efforts, mentor discipline teams, and coordinate with stakeholders to deliver energy-efficient building solutions.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of HVAC experience, a B.S. in engineering, and proficiency with Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks. PE license preferred; on-site collaboration in a dynamic team environment is expected.

Qualifications

• BSME/BSAE (or other engineering discipline with applicable experience).
• 10+ years designing HVAC building systems for research, healthcare or higher education facilities.
• Professional engineering registration preferred.
• Proficiency in engineering design programs (Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks).

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering design process on assigned projects within a discipline.
• Develop innovative solutions aligned with project and client needs; guide the discipline team.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project goals and schedules.

In this role, you will be responsible for engineering design process on assigned projects within a particular discipline. You will develop innovative and unique engineering solutions to align with project, client and project partner’s needs, and leads the discipline team in implementing the solutions.

Expertise Of Our Most Successful Mechanical Project Engineer

• BSME/BSAE (or other engineering discipline with applicable experience).
• 10+ years of experience designing HVAC building systems for research, Healthcare or Higher Education facilities.
• Professional engineering registration preferred.
• Proficiency in computer operation for engineering design programs (i.e. Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks) preferred.
