Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer in our Pasadena area office to lead HVAC design for advanced facilities and research environments.

The role focuses on delivering energy-efficient building systems, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams, and applying innovative design solutions to meet client needs. Ideal candidates have a BS Mechanical/Architectural Engineering, 10+ years in HVAC design for research or healthcare settings, and proficiency with RevIt

Qualifications

• BSME/BSAE (or other engineering discipline with applicable experience).
• 10+ years of experience designing HVAC building systems for research, Healthcare or Higher Education facilities.
• Professional engineering registration preferred.
• Proficiency in engineering design programs (Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks) preferred.

Responsibilities

• In this role, you will be responsible for engineering design process on assigned projects within a particular discipline.
• You will develop innovative and unique engineering solutions to align with project, client and project partner's needs, and leads the discipline team in implementing the solutions.

Expertise of our most successful Mechanical Project Engineer:

• BSME/BSAE (or other engineering discipline with applicable experience).
• 10+ years of experience designing HVAC building systems for research, Healthcare or Higher Education facilities.
• Professional engineering registration preferred.
• Proficiency in computer operation for engineering design programs (i.e. Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks) preferred.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $120,000 to $180,000
