Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Mechanical/Process Engineer to support operations and drive efficiency within a client facility. You will troubleshoot equipment and process issues, use SPC to improve quality, and lead efficiency initiatives from identification through execution with measurable results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field
• 2+ years of hands-on mechanical experience (equipment maintenance and troubleshooting)
• Experience with industrial equipment such as blenders, mixers, boilers, and HVAC systems
• Ability to support general building maintenance and repairs
• Proficient in AutoCAD & Autodesk Fusion 360
• Familiar with PLCs & Ladder Logic

Responsibilities

• Lead efficiency initiatives from identification through execution with measurable results
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to improve quality and reliability
• Manage small capital projects: sourcing equipment, quotes, purchase orders, timelines
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for repairs, upgrades, and improvements
• Optimize workflow, equipment layout, and space utilization to maximize efficiency
• Work closely with maintenance team to gain hands-on exposure to key systems
