You will create drawings and documentation while driving reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 4+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing or product-focused environment.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software; experience with machining, fabrication, fittings, fluid systems, or industrial components.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and mechanical design principles.
• FEA experience (ANSYS) preferred but not required.
• Experience with production teams to troubleshoot manufacturing challenges.
• Familiarity with stainless steel products, industrial fittings, or pressure systems.

Responsibilities

A customer of Insight Global is seeking a Project Engineer to join their engineering team. This role will support both product development initiatives and day-to-day manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical engineering background, enjoys solving technical challenges, and is comfortable working across design, production, and customer-facing projects.

Responsibilities

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA) experience, including ANSYS, is preferred but not required.Background with industrial manufacturers, component suppliers, or organizations that produce mechanical assemblies and engineered products.
• Experience working closely with production teams to troubleshoot manufacturing challenges.
• Familiarity with stainless steel products, industrial fittings, pressure systems, or similar engineered solutions.
