Job summary

Russell Tobin is seeking a seasoned Process Engineer to support chemical manufacturing operations under cGMP guidelines. You will improve processes, lead CAPA and Lean/DMAIC initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive performance and compliance.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering and 5+ years of process engineering experience, with hands-on capital project support and familiarity with FDA, ISO, OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of Process Engineering experience.
• Minimum 2 years in chemical manufacturing; pharma/cGMP manufacturing preferred.
• Experience with process improvement, CAPA, MOC, validation, SPC, and Lean/DMAIC.
• Hands-on experience supporting manufacturing equipment, process controls, troubleshooting, and capital projects.
• Knowledge of cGMP, FDA, ISO, OSHA, and other applicable regulations.
• Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and optimize chemical manufacturing processes under cGMP.
• Lead process improvement initiatives, CAPA, and DMAIC projects.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and QA to ensure compliance and performance.
• Assist with equipment commissioning, capital projects, and process controls.

Job description

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM. Occasional 6:00 AM starts and overtime may be required.

Pay: $50-$54/hr on W2

Duration: 12-month contract-to-hire

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related Engineering field
• 5+ years of Process Engineering experience
• Minimum 2 years in chemical manufacturing; experience in pharmaceutical/cGMP manufacturing is strongly preferred
• Experience with process improvement, root cause analysis, CAPA, MOC, validation, SPC, and Lean/DMAIC
