Job summary

PrideNow is seeking a hands-on Process Engineer to support manufacturing operations in a highly regulated cGMP environment. The role focuses on improving production performance, equipment uptime, process reliability, quality, and efficiency while supporting capital projects involving manufacturing equipment and control systems.

The candidate should have a Chemical Engineering degree with 5+ years of related experience, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and experience with DMAIC,

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of process engineering experience.
  • 2+ years in chemical manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, chemical, or highly regulated cGMP environment.
  • DMAIC, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and other problem-solving methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience applying SPC tools and analyzing process data.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Engineering, Maintenance, R&T, Production, Safety, Quality, Procurement, and external vendors to support manufacturing operations.
  • Analyze process data, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Lead process capability improvements, MOC, validation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot equipment downtime and manufacturing issues to improve reliability and throughput.
  • Develop and implement process performance, safety, quality, and reliability metrics.
  • Support product quality, yield improvement, waste reduction, process variability reduction, and non-conforming product disposition.
  • Lead investigations and develop corrective action reports and complaint responses.
  • Support new products, new technologies, and manufacturing process implementation.
  • Direct contractors and hourly employees during process modifications, equipment installation, and data collection.
  • Develop and support capital projects involving manufacturing equipment and control systems.
  • Prepare business cases, presentations, technical recommendations, and project documentation.
  • Ensure manufacturing activities comply with applicable safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with Engineering, Maintenance, R&T, Production, Safety, Quality, Procurement, and external vendors to support manufacturing operations.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering field.
  • Minimum 5 years of related Process Engineering experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working in a pharmaceutical, chemical, or highly regulated cGMP manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with DMAIC, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and other problem-solving methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience applying SPC tools and analyzing process data.
  • Strong communication, presentation, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
