Job summary

Hoar Construction is seeking a Project Manager for Mechanical/Plumbing in Houston. The role focuses on managing schedule, budget, quality, safety, and client relationships in coordination with the Superintendent.

You will oversee subcontractors, procurement, submittals, and quality control of mechanical and plumbing scopes. Responsibilities include planning meetings, budget tracking, change orders, contract administration, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Building Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in large, complex facility construction and on-site management.
• Detailed knowledge of construction processes, budgeting, accounting and procurement.
• Proficiency with MS Office and project scheduling tools (Suretrak, Project, P6, Procore, Revit, VICO).
• LEED accreditation preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Attend planning and project status meetings.
• Develop and maintain the project plan with status reports, projections, and change orders.
• Prepare project administration and correspondence.
• Build industry relationships to generate future opportunities.
• Maintain contract files, budgets and job cost reports.
• Oversee submittals, RFIs, RFPs, material procurement, and QA of mechanical/plumbing scopes.
• Lead owner-architect-contractor meetings to monitor project status.
