H&G Systems in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas is seeking a Mechanical Pipe Superintendent to lead field operations across commercial, industrial, and advanced process piping projects. Starting at $40+/Hour with full-time, year-round work, you will oversee piping and welding teams, coordinate multi-site activities, and ensure projects meet schedule, quality, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial or industrial piping and welding experience.
• 5+ years of leadership experience as a Foreman, General Foreman, Superintendent, or Lead Welder.
• Current 6G Welding Certification.
• Advanced proficiency in stick and MIG welding processes.
• Strong understanding of commercial and industrial piping systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld maps, specifications, and piping drawings.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

As the Mechanical Pipe Superintendent, you'll provide leadership and oversight for piping and welding operations across multiple projects throughout the DFW market.

Field Operations Leadership

• Lead piping and welding operations on commercial, industrial, and design-build projects
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and schedules across multiple job sites
• Work closely with project managers, foremen, and field leadership to ensure successful project execution
• Monitor productivity and ensure crews are meeting project milestones

Quality & Technical Oversight

• Review piping drawings, isometrics, weld maps, specifications, and project documentation
• Ensure all piping systems are installed in accordance with project requirements and applicable codes
• Monitor weld quality, testing requirements, and inspection processes
• Support field teams in resolving technical challenges and installation issues

Safety & Compliance

• Champion a strong safety culture throughout all assigned projects
• Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and industry standards
• Conduct site visits and inspections to maintain quality and safety expectations

Team Development

• Mentor foremen, welders, pipefitters, and emerging field leaders
• Support apprenticeship and workforce development initiatives
• Identify training opportunities and help strengthen team capabilities
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and craftsmanship

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial or industrial piping and welding experience
• 5+ years of leadership experience as a Foreman, General Foreman, Superintendent, or Lead Welder
• Current 6G Welding Certification
• Advanced proficiency in stick and MIG welding processes
• Strong understanding of commercial and industrial piping systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld maps, specifications, and piping drawings
• Proven ability to lead crews, manage schedules, and maintain quality standards
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading large-scale industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, data center, or mission-critical projects
• Knowledge of welding procedures, quality control, and NDE requirements
• Experience in design-build construction environments
• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
