Job summary

gpac is seeking a highly technical Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer to support New Product Introduction, manufacturing process development, product launches, and ongoing production operations in a growing medical device environment.

The role emphasizes DFM/DFA reviews, injection molding, tooling design, on-floor troubleshooting, and collaboration to improve cycle time, yield, and overall cost.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of mechanical/manufacturing engineering experience.
• Experience with plastics/injection molding preferred.
• Experience in regulated medical device manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support New Product Introduction from development to production launch.
• Develop and troubleshoot manufacturing processes for plastics and catheter products.
• Design and develop manufacturing equipment, tooling, fixtures, jigs, gauges, and production aids.
• Provide hands-on engineering support on the manufacturing floor and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges and improve performance.
• Drive Lean manufacturing initiatives to improve cycle time, throughput, and quality.
