Job summary

Google LLC seeks an Advanced Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer in Sunnyvale, CA to lead manufacturing process and product development for electro-mechanical assemblies powering Google's compute hardware and AI solutions.

You will collaborate across Hardware Engineering, Product Design, Supply Chain, Operations, and Quality to optimize designs, processes, and suppliers, driving DFx and scalability in high-volume production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial, Process, or Manufacturing Engineering, a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in process or product development for electro-mechanical assemblies for electronic systems.
• 3 years of process, design, or product development experience for mechanical assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing process and product development for Google's compute hardware.
• Guide qualification of new processes and suppliers to enable scalable manufacturing.
• Collaborate with Hardware Engineering, Product Design, Supply Chain, Operations, and Quality to optimize designs and processes.
