Job summary

Google in Sunnyvale seeks a Product Engineering Manager for Compute and Storage. You’ll lead a team at the intersection of hardware design and high-volume manufacturing, driving DFx, test strategies, and production readiness for ARM compute/storage products.

You’ll bridge Hardware Engineering with Supply Chain NPI, optimize capital efficiency, and accelerate deployment of scalable AI hardware powering Google’s infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in manufacturing or hardware design.
• 3 years of experience in people management.
• Experience in Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) and related system assembly.
• Experience in design for manufacturability and serviceability.

Responsibilities

• Lead NPI Operations Technical Lead, coordinating design and production plans.
• Provide pre-production build support and drive yield-bridge analysis to improve quality.
• Evaluate new product technology with Engineering and NPI Operations to mitigate risks.
• Set yield goals with Quality/Reliability and coordinate cross-functional resolutions.
• Drive DFx, test strategies, and manage manufacturing fallout to ensure GA readiness.
