Job summary

Resinall Corp, an Ergon Company, in Hattiesburg, MS, is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician I. The role supports repair and service of rotating and mechanical equipment and reports to the Maintenance Manager.

The position runs Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and requires a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license, and strong communication skills. Training and safety are priorities within a family-owned regional company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have >80% average score on the Work Keys evaluation.
• Must have successfully completed and passed a Functional Job Capacity Evaluation (FCE).
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs is beneficial.
• Valid driver's license must be maintained.
• Strong communication skills required.
• Computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Keep safe work habits as the highest priority at all times.
• Maintain a clean and well-organized workspace at all times.
• Assist in repair and maintenance of steam systems and instrument tubing.
• Assist in repair of rotating and other mechanical-related equipment.
• Complete CMMS work orders accurately.
• Operate forklift, bandsaw, scissor lift and manlift as needed.
• Document all service and repairs and maintain grounds.
