Job summary

Ashton North LLC is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician (Electro-Mechanical) to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on a range of industrial equipment. The role involves troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, servicing motors, pumps, conveyors, and hydraulics, and supporting plant upgrades and start-up projects.

The candidate will read schematics, ladder logic, and mechanical drawings, install and modify control systems, and program PLCs/VFDs.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience maintaining and troubleshooting industrial machinery and production equipment.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with industrial motors, controls, PLCs, VFDs, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, and mechanical drawings.
  • Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
  • Experience with industrial automation and control systems preferred.
  • Ability to safely use maintenance tools and equipment.
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a Maintenance Team.
  • Ability to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift as assigned.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed to support plant operations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance on industrial production equipment and manufacturing systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment to minimize production downtime.
  • Maintain and repair industrial motors, conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, valves, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, sensors, safety circuits, relays, contactors, breakers, transformers, and other industrial control systems.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot boilers, steam systems, air compressors, and other industrial plant utilities.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
  • Install and modify electrical, mechanical, and control systems for production equipment and plant projects.
  • Program and troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, robotics, and other industrial automation systems.
  • Perform welding, fabrication, pipe fitting, and mechanical repairs as needed.
  • Rebuild and fabricate components for industrial production equipment.
  • Complete scheduled preventive maintenance and document maintenance activities.
  • Assist production operators and other Maintenance Team members with troubleshooting equipment and repairs.

Job description

The Maintenance Technician (Electro-Mechanical) is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrialmanufacturing equipment and plant systems.
