Job summary

Carpenter Technology Tanner, AL is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to provide mechanical support for maintenance, engineering, and production. Qualified applicants will have a high school diploma or GED, an AS in Industrial Mechanical Maintenance or related field, and at least 2 years of mechanical experience.

Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.**Position Requirements:**Education:* High School Diploma or GED.* Associate **(AS)** degree in Industrial Mechanical Maintenance or relevant field, or an equivalent number of years of education and relevant maintenance experience preferred.Experience:* Minimum of 2 years of relevant mechanical experience in an industrial manufacturing environment. Demonstrated precision maintenance skills relating to general rotating machinery installation and maintenance. Demonstrated ability to read blueprints and P&IDs. Hydraulic system maintenance and repair or similar lubrication system experience.
