You will collaborate with engineers and scientists, apply design-for-manufacturability insights, and ensure compliance with safety and lab policies.

Qualifications

• Journeyman-level machining knowledge applied to conventional and CNC machine tools.
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, sketches, and assembly drawings.
• Familiarity with GD&T standards and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform journeyman-level machining to support novel research hardware.
• Program, set up, and operate conventional and CNC machines for complex parts.
• Collaborate with technicians, designers, engineers, and scientists on manufacturability.
• Adhere to safety and environmental requirements and participate in ES&H training.
