Job summary

Lennox is seeking a Mechanical Machine Assembler to precisely assemble mechanical components in a manufacturing setting. The role requires ability to read/write, read wiring diagrams in English, and use common hand and power tools.

You will handle electrical wiring tasks, load materials, troubleshoot assembly issues, and maintain production records. This is an on-site, full-time position with overtime opportunities.

• Must be able to read/write
• Must be able to read/write drawings and wiring diagrams in English
• Must be able to use wire cutters, crimpers, screwdrivers, & electric drills
• Must be able to operate an electrical wire soldering tool
• Must be able to work 10 hour days 4 days a week
• Must be able to work OT
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts, pieces and/or products using a variety of tools and/or equipment according to required specifications, processes, and procedures in an area of production in a manufacturing environment
• Ensure that all parts fit correctly and are suitable for the final product
• Use various equipment to join, fasten, and connect parts
• Handle electrical wiring tasks, including connecting motors, control panels, sensors, and switches
• Report incidents, faulty operations, or product imperfections
• Record daily production and maintain production quotas on Duro Dyne forms
• Maintain records of assembly activities, including documenting any modifications, defects, or adjustments made during the assembly process
• Load all raw materials as needed
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues that arise during the assembly process
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Duties

• Assemble parts, pieces and/or products using a variety of tools and/or equipment according to required specifications, processes, and procedures in an area of production in a manufacturing environment.

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• A minimum of 1-2 years manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience.

Physical Requirements

• Must be in good physical condition.
• Must have good eye/hand coordination.
• Must be able to lift up 20 lbs. routinely.
• Must be able to sit stand and/or bend for long periods of time (Varied based on daily tasks)
• Use of one or both feet or legs to move controls on machinery or equipment. Controls include, but are not limited to, pedals, buttons, levers, and cranks.
• Holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with the hand(s). Note: Fingers are involved only to the extent that they are an extension of the hand to hold or operate a tool such as pliers.

What We Offer

Compensation: This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $17.00-$22.00 /hour. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market, and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
