Job summary

Lennox in New York is hiring for an hourly manufacturing operator to monitor, maintain and operate X-Machine equipment. The role includes quality checks, loading materials, and documenting production sheets in English.

Candidates should be able to work a 10-hour day, overtime and occasional weekends, and thrive in a fast-paced team environment while supporting other areas as needed.

• Monitoring: Gauges, Indicators, Sensors, Batch Counter, Coil Feeder, Nail Feeder and Quality Control
• Controlling the operations of Equipment or systems.
• Convey information to Lead/Supervisor effectively
• Determine the reason/s for Machine Stoppage (troubleshooting)
• Packaging, Labeling and Palletizing finished goods.
• Must be able to fill out Production sheets in English
• Must be able to load all Raw Material into Machines
• Other duties as assigned.

What Drives Success

The primary functions of the position are to monitor, maintain and operate X-Machine equipment. They are also responsible for cleaning and quality-checking their machinery to ensure everything works as it should.

Job Duties:

• Monitoring: Gauges, Indicators, Sensors, Batch Counter, Coil Feeder, Nail Feeder and Quality Control
• Controlling the operations of Equipment or systems.
• Convey information to Lead/Supervisor effectively.
• Determine the reason/s for Machine Stoppage (trouble shooting)
• Packaging, Labeling and Palletizing finished goods.
• Must be able to fill out Production sheets in English
• Must be able to load all Raw Material into Machines

• Must be in good physical condition.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to push and pull up to 150 lbs.
• Must have good hand/eye coordination.
• Must be able to sit, stand, walk and/or bend for long periods of time (Varied based on daily tasks)

Compensation:This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $18.00-$22.00/hour. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market, and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
