Job summary

Gilbarco Veeder-Root seeks a Mechanical Technician II/Lab Technician II to support environmental compliance and testing across product development cycles. You will design fixtures, run standardized and non-standard tests, and document procedures for repeatable results.

Proficiency in LabVIEW and MS Office is expected, with light machining and strong safety awareness. The role involves evaluating data, presenting findings, and coordinating with procurement and engineering teams to meet test

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associates degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology or related field.
• Experience in new product testing environment or fueling site construction/installation work related to fuel pumping applications preferred.
• Must be able to perform light to moderate machining and fabrication of metals and plastics.
• Programming experience using National Instruments LabVIEW data acquisition equipment is needed.

Responsibilities

• Design, fabricate and assemble fixtures needed to perform tests requested by engineering.
• Perform standardized tests related to operating performance of products.
• Create standard work and document test procedures.
• Perform non-standard tests ensuring quality and repeatability of results.
• Evaluate results and make recommendations on procedures and data.
• Present test results in report form for engineering and other departments.
